I just bought one of their filter assemblies (fst500 I think). Nice piece with -12 O-ring ports.

I run the wix 33405 fuel/water separators, with the bulkhead style mount that has 1/2NPT in/out. The marine performance places sell these for like 33 bucks for the filter, and 50.00 for the mount. I buy them from fleetfilter.com for 12.95 for the filter, 22 bucks for the mount. So 80+ dollars at the boat high performance online shop, or 35 dollars from the fleet supply for the same setup. Our lovely marine high performance vendors, enjoy marking up prices and shipping costs.

Quick question: is it better to pull thru the filter or push thru it with a mechanical pump? Hope this isn't a pandoras box question.
