Let's hope it's just a head gasket!!! Any history on the last time he was out in it? When did he notice an engine miss or did he?, How many hours on the motor since it was gone through? Let us know what you find.

What failed with the rocker? I had a poly lock crack and back off once on the exhaust valve. Not sure what caused it but replaced and never had the problem again.

Didn't get to far tonight, put air to it and sounded like head gasket was leaking.ready to pull intake on next go around.

My guess, rocker nut broke for some reason, and the head gasket blowing was an after effect of it.

Intake came off and it looks bad, cam is toast and there was rust on the lifter . he's pulling the engine today.:(
