How do i get the air out of my K-280's trim tabs?

I just mounted a set of K-280's on my boat, the pumps work great but how does one get the air out of the system?

Thanks for all replies...

Cycle them, full up, full down, until there are no more air bubbles in the reservoir. It will take a few cycles.

Great, got them going after a while. Now I have another problem. I bought them used and refurbished them, and there was a duhicky mounted on them where one attach the positive wire, what does this little plastic duhicky do? When I hit the switch for the LH side they both run so it I was thinking maybe there was a diode in there somewhere that I was missing.... Any ideas?

Got to be a wiring issue. It should have one ground, one 12v, one blue (up) coming from the switch, one green (down) coming from the switch and one 12v going to the switch. Only reason you would need a diode is if you have multiple switches such as a switch in the handle or a single switch controlling both tabs. I am thinking that red do hicky you are referring is a fusable link.

That's the way the RH one is wired. I'll double check the wiring/switches as I find it weird. The setup is super simple with one MOM/OFF/MOM switch for each tab and that's it.
