some performance motor builder was telling me that water boiling temp is 220 and that if u run the oil temp to that if u had any water or condinsation in the oil that it would evaporate and u wouldnt ever have a problem and oil break down temp is like 240 plus

one of the main reasons why you want your oil to have some temperature to it is to boil off any moisture / condensation in the crank case. sorry for the multiple post back to back, just typing as it comes to me. i will shut up now

Water boils at 212, but water will start to steam off starting at 150 ish. I'm sure when you have been in the shower you have Sean this sort of steaming. If your running around 190 your doing fine.

how many thermostats are in it? and where did you purchase it from? never seen one before, the reasoning for the 21 questions :)

You can get many different types. I think I got this one from summit. If I remember correctly it was around 200 plus the AN fittings.
