What size oil lines would you guys use, right now I got Aeroquip 10 an with full flow fittings everywhere is that what everybody is running. I thought about going to 12an but is this overkill

i rig with -12 but -10 should be just fine imo.

Just what my engine builder zul wanted me to use an i have 540 w 871 we dynoed at around 1000hp pump gas no chiller. a/f # were perfect across the board. Remember bigger is not always better.

WE run -10 oil lines make sure you have a oil thermostat also

What are the components on this build? Heads? What boost psi and blower drive ratio? Did you measure air intake temps?

Did you try a pair of 1050s on the build? Maybe you could have seen 1050 instead of 1000 and less heat in the intake manifold.

i also would be interested in the facts on this engine.always willing to learn how some guys make stated power.

4195 on the board has a pair of Zul 540's with 8-71's that made 800 with less than 5lbs of boost. Over 1000 sure would be impressive with an 8-71 and no chiller. He!! By next season in hoping to make 850-900 with a 10-71
