Storage of gasoline

Can it be safe Any one ever store gas in a tank outside for use in the boat.Like in about 300 gallon stationary tank above ground tank.???????

I wouldn't do it gas doesn't have much of a shelf life by fresh when you need it

1 month is what my friend told me. He runs a commercial fuel/oil distribution company.

Need to look into the regulations for the size of the tank. All require double wall construction with mentoring depending on size. Check you local regs

That said if you can get non-ethanol gas then length of time can be extended quite a bit

If you've got a good storage tank, in a secure spot then I don't see a big problem, that said I'd try to buy in 100 gallon increments while adding stabile or another similar product, but who knows the price may continue to drop for a while yet. I have a 250 gallon tank and am thinking about this as well.

Yeah! That's about what I was thinking
