575SCI's
Anybody had a good or bad experience with Arizona Speed with thier 575SCI re mapping of the ECU, and or Smaller Pully's (more boost) for the SC's?

575SCI's
When we installed intercoolers from Whipple on our customers we used Dustin Whipple. We had no problems with the set up and the puters were right on. So far we and the customer have put over 100 hours on it and still runs great. Starts up fine and runs its ass off. By changing and using Whipples pulley, we are at 7 psi of boost now at 5600 rpm.

Re: 575SCI's
Our mechanic deals with them. A month ago we dropped down to 3.5" pulleys on the 575's and we increased our HP to 650's. We picked up a lot of torque and few top end MPH for just a few hundred dollars. We're still testing props...we've tried labbed 32's & 34's and experienced some blowout coming out of the hole. This weekend we'll be testing stock 32's.
We've had no problems, although there is a noticeable difference in fuel consumption. We'll be remapping our ECU's sometime this fall because we've been hitting the rev-limiter a lot at WOT.

Hey O Limit 37. Who will do the reprograming of the ECU's? Are you going to have the Rev Limiter raised to 5700RPM (That is what Arizona Speed does)? Are you going to have the Mixture leaned out or do you think due to the extra boost that you need more fuel or the same as the ECU puts out stock. I have been told by several people that the 575SCI's are set at the factory very rich, so Arizona Speed reprogramms then leaner. How much boost are you getting now with the smaller pulleys? Does the smaller pulley require a smaller Blower Belt? I'm new to the big boat scene but my 2001 38" Formula Fastech at 1500' altitude uses a ton of fuel especially compared to my brother in laws 2000 Cigarette 38 Top Gun with 500HPEFI's. My boat 150 miles on 130 gallons of fuel is that close to normal.

Re: 575sci's
Our mechanic got the pulley kit from Arizona Speed. I don't think we needed a new blower belt. I'll have to double check on the boost numbers, but I thought he said 5-6lbs. This week he's sending out the ECM's to be remapped and boosted by 300rpms. He deals with a company in MD--48 hour turn around via FedEx....Not Bad!
