Neutral balance Harmonic balancers? middle of the line?

Looking to buy new balancers, gen6, neutral balance, whos got some nice ones for not a ton of money, I had PBM that seemed ok, until I removed and one had loose rubber...

question is who makes a nice balancer that is affordable? I don't need top of the line, just good.....

Better to know the easy way as opposed to finding out the hard way.

Just don't use a fluid balancer. Boats sit to long, the fluid tends to settle and when started the off balance causes cracks and eventually snaps the cranks snout off.

Tim, I'm sure I'll get corrected, or this will turn into a 23 page thread, but.......

Scat, who probably sells/manufactures/supplies more crankshafts then about anyone else, has been using Proffessional products balancers with their cranks for a long time. I do not believe they would use them if they were problematic . 75.00 cheaper than Jegs on amazon. Icdedppl has them on his blown 540's, no issues.

My Mack Semi has nearly a million miles using a fluid type damper. It sits for long periods of time, in extreme cold as well.
