Sprink58 I'm really thinking about an LS as well. I have a c6 Vette with a blower and I love it!! I'm trying to come up with a complete list of everything that needs to be done for the LS swap. I Need to do some additional searching.

Just ask your builder about how much it would be to build a 496 stroker, you might be pleasantly surprised. Ask him if he will take your rotating assembly to help offset some cost or sell it in the swap shop.

I can get a deal on an LS1 with very low miles, the computer and harness for $1200. I think I'm going to go this direction. Do you guys see many deals on used blowers for this setup?

Thank you guys very much for the help. My engine builder quoted me $4500-5000 to rebuild my big block. 40 over, 088 heads, forged Pistons, h beam connecting rods, balanced. Now I need to weigh my options. What mph can I get with this setup and non stock headers?

Do yourself a favor and buy a GM 425hp 454 crate motor I have used a bunch of them in a boats. Think about $5600.00 and sell all your old stuff.
