title says it all. fairly inexpensive and nobody is jumping to buy it. a new cast steel eagle can be had for the same price. scat 25 bucks more.

throw it away. Scrap price is best for it. A new scat forged is like $500 on eBay

20/30 if all it is needed is fine just be aware that you wont be able to cut it much more if needed in the future.
But like said, if it needs work plus the original asking price you may be better off going new.

Many of these cranks were nitrided. At .020-.030 your past the hardening treatment. I would throw it in the scrap bin. A good used uncut gm steel crank goes for 200-250 bucks, or like unlimited jd said, a new scat crank isn't that much either.

You should put an ad in the want section here. Ill bet you come up with a good uncut 4 inch steel GM crank for very reasonable money. Many guys have taken them out to go with stroker cranks.

i don,t know what you are building but i can tell you that there are a lot of 500hp and less bbc out there with cast cranks.i just bought a scat cast crank for my sea ray cruiser that will be about 350 hp.it list for about 270. bucks.for a marine application 450 hp would be my limit with a cast crank and under 5400 rpm.as already stated, pass on the 20/30 cut crank if for a marine engine.btw, you should get the pistons&rods monday or tuesday at the latest.

I used cast Scats in my 420's because the cut forged cranks seemed to assist in giving me issues, never had issue again after new cranks, they were about 440hp and 5200rpm.... stop about there...

and DO NOT buy cranks that were not machined my someone you know and trust, biggest reason they may not have checked to see if they are straight...
