which one should I buy B-max or IMCO SC
 

Should I purchase IMCO SC or B-Max both sould like they work equally well. Some claim IMCO SC takes less power for the same duribility?

I am going to run a quad whipple Paul Pfaff 1000 hp , 28 Howard Bullet V hull. can't decide between IMCO sc and b-max

My dealer up here swears by the B-max. It's the only one with a 5" gear. Of course, it's that gear that slows it down. You realize that you are exceeding the capacity of the gimble assembly with that power. You should really be considering a speed master.

the imco is not going to handle 1000 hp, unless you baby it. the foot will be the weak link, the imco vert shaft is a torsion shaft that will flex a little instead of snaping, bmax upper with a imco foot?

What part are you calling the foot?

the lower housing,lower half,prop shaft housing,what else do they call it?

So which foot is the weak link? Stock? IMCO?
So the best would be the B-max upper and the IMCO lower?
Did I read that Bravo Shop has a new lower or is it mercruisers?
