Stellings headers straight thru or with tips?
So I'm looking at these Stellings with tailpipes and it appears as if they're meant to go straight thru hull which I don't want to do. I already have 4 Corsa mufflers/tips and teague stainless block off plates to eliminate the y-pipes. So what I'm trying to figure is if I can use the stellings headers with these mufflers or if the tailpipes would need some serious mods to make it work. Or would I need some custom tailpipes to make it work how I want. Or no pipes and instead 4 small holes in my transom for water dump(which I'm not going to do). BTW its for the 33 Outlaw.
These headers: http://i1283.photobucket.com/albums/...pst8yqo7tu.jpg With these pipes: http://i1283.photobucket.com/albums/...psvi7ezbka.jpg And these tips: http://i1283.photobucket.com/albums/...psl4jw9rha.jpg |
If you plan on going with Stellings headers, I'd forget about the corsa tips . I'd run the tailpipes straight thru the transom, and use a clamp on style muffler. Whatever you decide, make sure you pressure test those headers before handing over any money.
