Ocean performance in old saybrook has a very nice machine and all the parts needed. I was checking it out the other day. Reasonable price also.

Get new filter baskets - or clean 'm out - that sit in the top of the injectors...be amazed at some junk that may be there.

I have used Mr Injector. They give you a before and after flow chart. Use them to also purchase o-ring, hat, screen kits.

Send them to Ocean Performance in Old Saybrook CT. They have a flow bench, ultrasonic cleaner, and can refurbish them if need be.

http://www.mrinjector.us/ Found it somehow got moved around in my favorites. They did a great job on my 84 fiat injectors, vehicle had sat for 14 years. Old fuel ruined the tamk, filter , eletric pump, hoses had melted.

Give Southbay a try. They have a good reputation on other forums.

fuel injector connection in GA

I would send them to Bup. He has a good reputation and has helped many OSO members with engine problems and questions. A win win.

Just remembered, I think he is from Western NY

Padraig THANKS for the comp. Not to mislead anyone. I do not have a boat dealership anymore. I still work on boats but not even close to the #'s as before. Maybe 120 to 175 boats max this year is projected.

I do own a semi custom professional fuel injector flow testing and cleaning machine. It is installed at a friend of mine machine shop that we both use from day one. He is on the auto & a few drag race side and me on the marine side. I have been doing this now for 6 years. I am also looking to put another machine in my garage at home so I can provide a faster service and grow a bigger customer base.

I am still waiting to do this because GDI = Gas direct injection is here for the marine side. keep in mind in the combustion chamber of these GDI injectors see fuel pressure of around 2500 psi give or take psi. With that said I am still weighing my options to which machine or what is coming forth to provide the best results for these apps as well.

Funny this post just came up as I just wrote a story about fuel injectors and flow testing along with cleaning them. I will post it when it comes out. I am NOT saying I am the LEADER in this service nor fuel injection but I can hold my own especially when it comes to marine apps.

If needed read my link above post # 10 for the jist of what I do. I really do not advertise this service as 98 % of my customer base is from Boat Dealerships and Mom & Pop boat repair shops thru out the USA. Currently depending on the year for them it is 45 to 75 of these marine businesses that send me their injectors. This makes it very seasonal for me and someday I would like to make this a full year job hence the machine in the garage to.

Sorry for the long post - it is a habit and I am from Eastern New York born and raised. Grew up on the Great Sacandaga Lake. Boated since birth.

I am no stranger when it comes to marine fuel injection. Again THANKS for the PLUG guys.
