Pull ups here, no issues.

Accon is the way to go in whatever you prefer pull up or pop up. If needed I can see what I could sell them for to anyone. I am dealer for them as well.

My 280 originally came with standard 8 inch cleats on the bow, midship and stern. I got tired of stubbing by toe and almost tripping so I replaced them all with 8 inch flush pull up cleats. Used 1/2 inch or 5/8 inch lines with no problem.
Fast forward to the VR 1. It came with 8 inch pull ups on the stern and bow. Midship it had these silly 45.5 inch pull up cleats that were miserable even with a 3/8 inch line. I had made up my mind to replace them and was thinking about using the 6 inch ones. Luckily my wife decided to give me the 8 inch model cleats for Christmas. When I mentioned that I had been thinking of a smaller cleat she said that I was forgetting that often we had to double up with a mooring line and a line to hang a fender. Smartest thing I ever did was to marry that girl. Padraig Sorry bro I had to read it twice and got a chuckle both times so insisted on sharing. I do sincerely appreciate the post though. |

Anyone can let me know and I will try to beat the price but please I am asking to be realistic with it.

I love the cleats that come on Apaches.

My cleat was not an Accon. They are no longer available, which is why I had to fix it, or replace all of them on the boat.
I heated it up a little, and coaxed it back into shape with some force. FWIW, I LOVE these cleats. No one else can figure out how to use them so I have to teach lessons for newbs on my boat. However, you use them just like any other cleat, and you don't have to worry about the lines overwhelming the cleat. These look bad azzz. Can't imagine trying to train the occasional distant drunk buddy whose aboard asking for a ROPE as your approaching a dock. You know your in for it then. These look sweet. I'd prolly need a lesson myself. Lol |
