Default Flushing tubular oil cooler... yes or no??

I have 18"x3" oil coolers, one had crap go through it, I was gonna buy new, but then was told I can flush this style, so I did, had crap come out, seems clean, but still hesitant to run it, the oil is filtered after the cooler, but I do run the 30lb bypasses... so whats the take on these? not a cheap cooler but if it is a must I will buy them.....

If it goes through a filter after cooler I would run it. Wash it with soap and water try to use hot water on garden hose..
