Bravo XR with finned top cap torque spec

Whats the spec on the finned XR top cap nuts?

Thanks in advance!

Lube the o-ring very well with gear lube and make sure it positioned correctly. It is wise to use new O ring here for the top cap.

All bravo apps top cap bolts are 20 ft lbs and I install in a 3 pass criss cross pattern.

next all bravo back cover bolts are 20 ft lbs to and the same deal for the install. just in case someone asks.

Thanks BUP. I installed a drive shower yesterday that involved replacing two of the OEM top cap nuts with taller nuts. I loosened all the nuts to about 5 lbs, replaced the two center nuts, then re-torqued them all to 20 lbs. I never actually removed the top cap. That sound OK?

May not be right, but after losing a top cap bolt and blowing a drive, after the install of a shower and tq to spec.....I now use red loc-tite on my top cap bolts. This year I pulled both top caps for gear inspection and had no issues with the red loc-tite.
