I wanna add widebands to the boat, been looking at the FAST system... What else is there also need longer wire for o2 sensors to reach ....

What's out there?

I use innovate LC-1s. Have worked well for me, and they have several guages if you want the readout. http://www.innovatemotorsports.com/products/MTS.php

What did you do about getting the length of wire to the back of the boat for the sensors?

make a wiring harness... it's just an extension cut n paste lol

I have the NGK powerdex AFX. Its not a very feature oriented unit. It simply reads the AFR. It has a bright, easy to read display, which I like. It's only a single channel, so if you desire to read both banks at once, you would want a dual channel unit.

I went with the NGK, as I like its simplicity, and only use it to dial in carbs on the water. Once carbs are dialed in, it gets disconnected and put back in the box. Its about half the cost of a F.A.S.T. unit, if price is a concern.

The NGK unit only has 13ft harness, which just barely reaches my dash. However, most of the time I am tuning on a boat, someone else is there with me, to write down the data. When I've been out on friends boats doing this with my NGK, I normally just sit in the backseat with a notepad, writing down the AFR's at specific throttle postions/rpm.

Fast does have a longer option harness option with one of their units

So you can just extend those wires without any reading issues? I wasn't sure if that messed up readings or not?

Cost isn't the biggest concern necessarily I just don't want to end up with $1000 unit that I don't need to something simple that works but I think I would like to monitor all the time because I had a lean condition ones that almost burned up an engine on me and if I would've saw it going when I could a lot out of throttle

If your going to run it full time, I'd just install an actual pair of AFR gauges. Also, are you running FULL dry exhaust? or wet?
