2 stage sea pump rebuild
 

Thought I would rebuild while the engine was out. Had no problems with the pump. Ordered the basic kit. Took it apart today and found the rear bearing is toast. Does anyone have a clue what the number is? Thought maybe I could pick it up at a bearing supply house. It's a KE 2 stage pump.

I'd use my calipers to measure ID,OD and width. Then note any special features- sealed, shielded, ball/roller, flange, etc. Hop onto the Mcmaster.com web page and begin matching things up until I arrived at a number. Order it from them now and you'll have it tuesday, if I were betting.

Said it before, but mcmaster carr is the best vendor of all time.

I'll give it look. I just don't won't to send back what I ordered and wait for the full rebuild kit. I should have took it apart first. But I had no reason to. I thought replace the impellers and wear plate and I would be good to go. The old impellers look great.

Can you buy the rear cover and bushing?

Upon further review the shaft is toast also.
Order the total rebuild kit shaft bearings seals and updated end cover.
