4 blade prop question

If im turning a 32 p 4 blade non labbed at 5k rpm what is the max rpm for a big block (572 ci)
the MSD module has a 6000 rpm chip in it
If I wanted rpm up isnt it 200 rpm per pitch? so if 32P is 5000 then a 30 should spin at 5400 rpm? (having a brain fart here)

Your math is correct; every boat/prop slip combo is a bit different though.

I have a labbed 30 & 32 I could sell if you're interested. I raised the X-dimension on my boat 1/2 inch and now it really likes a non-labbed 34.

i am spinning a pair with this set up on what i believe to be shorter that stock drives (takes a little bit of finesse to get it on plane), look like IMCO , but no name on them

My apologies, assumed you had a single. One thing I've learned over the last year with my boat is how significant raising and lowering the X-dimension is on boat performance and attitude. Just a 1/2 inch makes the boat good to great, crazy stuff.

I agree on that, went thru that on the cat I used to have, 1/2 " changed the dynamics significntly
