You have a vortec motor - you mentioned 8 bolt (4 per side) intake. It should be 300hp. Give or take a few depending on what you put on top of it.

With that said, I do know the guy personally who runs the whole Marine end for Jasper remans. Let me know what they quote you but do not buy it as most likely I can save you some going thru me. I do not know how much but it will be some savings that might be worth your while.

I have tried them and the 3 I dealt with were complete garbage...great warranty...good thing probably going to need it !

I have probably put in 2 dozen jasper engines in cars and pickups. They all have been perfect. Fire up just like you shut it off 10 minutes ago and never see it again. I would highly recommend them in an automotive application. this is my first marine engine from them. Will see how it goes.
