Bravo dual water pick ups

Getting ready to put a nose cone on a bravo dual water pick up drive. Drive is standard length. Can I block off the low water pick up without hurting anything? if so would u fill the low water holes in before putting the nose cone on? anyone done this before? Thanks for the help.

Mine have both pickups operational.

I have high water pressure and cant get motor to warm up with thermostat was hoping by blocking that could get temp up in motor and water pressure down a bit. Thanks

Duck Tape it and try it out.

I would tap and plug the holes with pipe plugs first. Then experiment running it to see if it helps.
If you don't plug them first, water will seep back down and cause the nose cone to get water under it and it will prob crack.
How high of water pressure???? Do you have a crossover??? I think you may be trying to fix the issue the wrong way.

Totally agree with the last two posts. I'd use Gorilla Tape for the experiment, and make sure the lower is freshly waxed to not pull any paint off; but such would tell you exactly what blocking off the ports would do.

Thanks for help ill try that first. Before I install nose cone. If I have no problem then I should probably close those holes off permanently before installing nose cone, Thanks
