5.0MPI motor pull and oil pan
 

Hello Gents, I have a 2007 5.0mpi (0w656595) alpha drive that I pulled out due to a rusty oil pan. My question is do you think this aluminum pan would suffice? http://www.summitracing.com/parts/sum-121012 Cant beat the price. While i have the motor out, i am going to replace the rear main seal, quick oil drain hose, gimble, baffles etc. Is there anything else i should check and or replace while i have the motor out?

I rec.put a steel pan on , coat with few layers of good 3 part clear after a 240 grit scuff , will be cheap durable and proper fit . I have 3 steel merc vortec pans
