Default Q-Jet to Hollry Carb Swap Question.

OK, Almost ready to mount Holley, question is, On the Q-Jet there is the hose to the Fuel Pump in case of fuel pump diaphragm failure,
1) What do I do with hose?
2) How do I provide this protection for pump failure?
(GEN IV block mounted mechanical pump).
Thanks in advance.

Flame arrestor normally has a spot or you will need to add it. Take a look at some pictures of flame arrestors to see.

I have the Hardin Marine Polished 8x12" Flame Arrestor. No provision and no real recommendations.
I have come up with a VERYclean professional looking solution using $5 in parts.
If anybody else is interested, the special fitting (you will not find this in your H/W store) barb-compression w/bulkhead 1/4" -1/4" from Parker 22CABH-4-4 Bulkhead Union. and 1/4" copper tube 6" one hole in bottom plate and some shaping of tube.
Pics if you are interested. PM me.
Hope this helps others.
