Wideband location ...
Happy 4th weekend folks.
Getting back into the boat after a little break. I have stainless marine manifolds for my gen 6 502. I have mounted the sensors upright and towards end of risers. (Cut a large hole welded bung to bottom of riser and then patched water jacket. So it's sealed) how ever I'm running into reversion getting water on sensor at low speeds and idle and sensors don't last long. If you have mounted one, where at? Post up photos for refrence :) |

Here is where mine is mounted. I have a decent cam, two seasons with no issues. |
Can you post a pic of the v band area?
I've used the Innovate heat sink when having the same issue. Seems to have fixed the problem. Jeff |
I have two in my EMI risers with a healthy Bob Madera cam. One is for my Holley EFI and the other is for an Autometer stand-alone AFR gauge. 10.6:1, 548 cu. in.

Don't have a pic, but its in a header primary about 8" from the flange (against the head) in a set of lightning headers.
Had a bung in the collector and the sensor would get wet and die running it hard, it was fine at idle/cruise. |

Mine aren't more than 8" upstream of the water. I have a -6 fitting injecting water there. Just enough to keep the hose from burning. My cam is a 221/230 with 112 lobe sep.
