Mercury Smartcraft alarm going off
 

The alarm will go off once I get over 4400 RPMs and tells me to reduce throttle. It's not giving me a code of what's wrong though. All the gauges look good with no problems. I did have a starter battery go bad. Changed it and reset smartcraft but that didn't change anything. It on a 03 crownline with a 496 HO. Any help would be appreciated.
