Alpha gen 1 vs gen 2 & TBIV vs TBV
 

Picking up my new boat soon. It is a 1994 with a gen 2 alpha setup. I want to put my built motor in it which is running on a 1987 TBIV ignition system. Will the TBIV function correctly in a boat that came with TBV? Will the drive lube monitor and all other accessories still work in the new boat if I put my old **** in it?

Edit: the reason I want to keep the TBIV stuff is because I'm running a v6-14 ignition module. Not sure if they make different ones for the TBV but my boat loves all the timing down low
