If your going to do it go for the mighty mouse. As much cubes u can get. Tall deck small block long stroke and siamese bore for big pistons. Pretty sure you can do 454 cu in 500hp out of tall deck small block. Maybe more now. Just like the big block it costs the same to build a 540 as it does a 630 when your starting new. I like the iron block myself. Definitely more pocket friendly.
