That I have to disagree with. To me they sound kinda weak. All LS cams have a 113lsa so you don't have much overlap. Add to that the LS firing order and what you end up with is a motor that doesn't sound very nasty at all. Stick a couple in a boat and it sounds like to Corvettes running next to each other with some exhaust work.

If your going to do it go for the mighty mouse. As much cubes u can get. Tall deck small block long stroke and siamese bore for big pistons. Pretty sure you can do 454 cu in 500hp out of tall deck small block. Maybe more now. Just like the big block it costs the same to build a 540 as it does a 630 when your starting new. I like the iron block myself. Definitely more pocket friendly.
