Mirage plus hub kit

I've searched and found all kinds of information but can't pin point the correct kit for myself. I just picked up a pair of used mirage plus props and need hub kits for my TRS drives. 311 with 420's, some say solid hub and others say plastic or rubber. I really need to order these today, thanks in advance.

Are you talking Flo torque hubs? Merc recommends the HD solid one for over 400 horse. That being said I have had no issue with the regular one up to 500hp. It will give easier if you hit something and is half the price. If you air props much it can spun them too.
Unless you are spinning regular ones due to power I would just use those. 420s should be fine.

As was said, Merc says solid hubs for over 400hp.

I don't listen to Merc though:D. I run the plastic/Delrin hubs on my 502mpis/415hp + headers. I have only had one crack in 7 years.
My reasoning is if I hit something, I'd rather have hub crack than break a propshaft or outdrive gears.

Same as Griff I am running the plastic hubs (25P) on my 454's turning about 475hp with no issues after two seasons...original props were solid hub Mirage 23P.
