CRT rotary trim question
 

I have a CRT rotary trim with 6 push button switches mounted in the 3 spokes of my steering wheel. I need to replace the wheel. It looks like the switches have a nut on the back and remove forward out of the spoke. Does anyone know if the wires just unplug from the CRT hub or the switch so I can remove them from the wheel? I hate to have to cut the wires if I don't have too. Thanks...
