Water driplets and stains inside SS Exhaust riser
 

Just removed my Emi exhaust risers and noticed water driplets and stains inside 3 stainless risers. The boat has been sitting for 2 weeks inside a cool garage and hasn't been started These emi risers were just extended from the short version to the longer version 6 months ago by Eddie Marine. Why would they be condensating? This looks like mold??? Is that even possible?

Its wet I stuck a rag there and it's still wet from??????????????????

I sending them back to Eddie marine

For what it's worth coming from me. I'm not a mechanic I should would send them back

Already being packed up, something doesn't look right

Why is everything white?..I don`t know about anyone else but my exhaust gasses are black and so is all of my exhaust.

They are black. The flash from my camera made them look lighter

Maybe this was the KKK model??

Like I said I'm not a mechanic but you're correct - not that I have done dozens of exhaust manifolds - but they have always were black- very slight gray tinges with a "little" soot- but nothing to write home about.

This is going to be interesting

I just received my risers back from Eddie Marine. I showed them pics of the water staining inside the pipe and explained the slight reversion issues, oil temp and water pressure increases. Seems like they changed the design of the way the water exits the pipes. The old pipes had 3 small holes inside. These outlets are on the outer part. They called it a water dam. See pics....I won't know how it will all work out for several months from now.. EMI really took care of me here and I really appreciate it
