Ok I have them and use them all the time especially for easy winterization when I see the boat back in my hands.
Sent me an email and put a title on your email - we are on the same page with the part and yes I have about 50 all brand new. Hit my email and later tonite I will send you pics for 100 % verification its a 2 piece brass - with the brass T fitting (wingnut) that goes into the fitting that goes into the block. Both are brass. Hope that makes sense. I have to run - winterizations just started around my neck of the woods. Thanks email - [email protected] |
Checked my yahoo emails did not see yours. Pics were taken as well when I got in. just saying no big deal on my end.

Your welcome.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Volvo-Penta-...-/271455028456 This what I carry but have others and found this to be the best to use without tools and the easiest to take out and screw back in by hand. They are very heavy duty pieces as well especially being brass. They are 2 piece brass - as the wing nut portion screws into the other portion that screws into the block. By far they are the easiest to install and loosen. You can screw OUT the brass wing nut completely to stab the block drain hole with a long tie wrap or wire - I recommend doing that to make sure all water has drained from the block. you can also use a very small cresent wrench to loosen and or tighten the brass wing nut snug only - keep in mind they brass so do not over tighten. . Anyways just some info and they are alot better than the blue plastic drain plugs as those break all the darn time. Hate those blue drain plugs in the exhaust manifolds as they always break off leaving the thread portion still up in the hole. Then you have to get an easy out to get that portion out. Sorry for the rant here |
