If your looking for the best. A good 2 part epoxy as a base with Awlgrip as top coat Is tough to beat. Not a cheap combo though.

As in any paint job, the prep is 90 percent of job.

Good call on the black where all the nasty soot /water / oil residue. Ect. Never see it being black.

black holds heat....




Sherwin Williams marine polyurethane coating..125 a gallon with a qt of hardener..the paint is like gelcoat and it will fill major voids..does not dull or yellow like rustolum..

5years on rustoleum and never seen dulling or yellowing even with a few bad oil downs

Looking to do a few storage compartments , I looked up rusoleum and there are about 30 different products on there site here in the uk can anyone here show me the exact product I should use . Thanks

I mix 3Qts white to 1qt beige (little less) to get that off white fiberglass color.
I've also never had a staining issue.

I did the same exact thing with same exact paint to get that mid eighties Formula off white. I also used the Valspar hardener that is pictured earlier in this thread with the Rustoleum. I bought the hardener on line and the Rustoleum from Home Depot. Then just followed the Valspar mixing directions. Again, very pleased with the end product.
