average price on removing and reinstalling twin 502s?
 
I bought a 95 32' fountain last summer and without knowing much other than hour meter says 650 hours I think I should freshen the motors.whats people charging for labor to remove and install both motors?people ive been dealing with I don't trust giving me a fair price, motors are the efi 415 hp 502s.thanks

Are they running ok? Burning oil? I would just run them. Anyway I think labor would be 1800-2200. Just a guess though. Depends on your location.

I would think a repeatable shop would do it for 10 hours labor at whatever labor rate is in your area.

im in va.motors running good alittle blowby.want to step up and try to run around 100mph with it.ill be posting later a question on whats it gonna take to run like that with this size boat.im coming from high hp drag cars im new to most of this ....its my frist boat...lol

Without any corrosion frozen parts and depending on interior & access space plus labor rate - the very low side would be 500 bucks per engine and the high side would be 1000 dollars per engine. With that said a good average across the board would be 1300 to 1600 dollars for twins to R & R properly.
