have you and your buddy scaled your boats?your's may be just that much heavier than his. |

The engines have Edelbrock heads and dale cubic 750cfm carbs. To be fair, those numbers were with only a water pump and dyno headers and on a different dyno. |
Remember, Full Force has lower compression. What was the exact # FF ?

One shelf grind is not going to be ideal for every combination. The closer the cam is to being "ideal" for a given combination, the more power it's going to make within that cam's design limitations. That's why some combinations with the same displacement will make more power than others, given the same cam. There are lots of other factors in an engine build that contribute to making power, so that needs to be taken into consideration as well. You can't just assume it's the cam when comparing different builds by different builders. Don't get too caught up in that.

Does Lunati make their cams?
Reason I ask is my engines were originally built with Lunati pistons. The bulider at the time swore by them. Fast forward from 2004 to 2010, I needed a piston. I had to custom order 4 from Lunati. It took 7 weeks to get them and when I opened the box, much to my surprise, they were Weisco pistons. |
