Self cleaning parts warsher Made by SYSTEMS ONE

Anyone have one and how good is it. I see it takes about 4 hours for it to clean the fluid. How clean does it get. Looking into maybe buying one. Thanks

Looking at it maybe to save some shop space I have 2 now and if it will clean the fluid I would not need 2 anymore. Only thing I can see the parts are expensive if it brakes.

did it stay clean?

It really depends what you are cleaning in the parts washers if the fluid stays clean or not. It helps prolong the life of the fluid.

funny this thread showed up. My plan today was to install an external filter on my safety kleen parts washer. I have an old Remote oil filter mount here from my boat stuff, and was going to mount it up to my parts washer housing. Thought it be really easy to change the filter that way. Not sure how it will work, but I'm bored, soo.......lol

I remember years back people would add about 5 gallons of water to a 30 gallon washer tank. The water separates to the bottom and all the crud would get pulled into the water, keeping the solvent much cleaner. They would drain out the water/crud mix as needed. Do people still use this process?

Just add a hot plate under the tank and know you have a self-cleaning system.

That system one looks just like the ones my old company leased from safety kleen. Nice thing was they came and serviced it monthly. The one in my area definitely didn't like the fine alumina dust that that frequently went in with grease .
