Baja 302 Bilge Pump Replacement

Any suggestions on replacing the bilge pump? If my arms were 7' long I might be able to reach it!?

Tips? Tricks? Do I have the pull a manifold to get to it? Pull an engine?

Hire a carney ( Circus folk ) I would relocate it unless you want to pull the engine to set it on the pad, its probably in the same place as my 33, right under the pan on the starboard engine the wire on mine went down the center stringer. Good luck, BTW they like cabbage :D

I'm moving my bilge pump discharge hose, I was prepared to take the strb engine out to get at everything. After removing the exhaust manifolds from centers ther was enough room to wrk at it without removing engine. It'll b a pain but easier than pulling an engine!
My 2 cents .

Thanks for the advice. I'll pick up some astroglide and tie a rope around my waist.

Did it a few weeks ago on mine and used elongated pliars, needlenoses, screwdrivers without issue. 20 min job.
