Funny you mentioned that. Here's one I just ran across.

Panther, what's in that motor for a cam?

This a 572 then? Also does he have any time on it yet? I'd really like to keep in the loop on this.
Thanks

Curious as well. Also runner size. I've seen these builds from 320 to 370 plus. Same with cams. I've seen good numbers with short duration like 235-240 all the way up to 260-270 while still keeping rpm's under 6k. Some of it doesn't even make since to me how it's achieved to be perfectly honest. Lol.

Ah. You got me. Lol

Ok here's my 2 options I would like to pursue.

Option 1)
9.8 deck, 4.25 stroke, 4.590 bore = 562 ci

Option 2)
9.8 deck, 4.375 stroke, 4,590 bore = 579 ci

I would have to agree that option "1" would be the best for long jevity etc however if option "2" is proven without any real known issues then I'd like to go that route. I ultimately would like to achieve 775 hp plus or minus at 5,800

It's got a hydraulic roller in it. Somewhere in the 250/260 range. Only dyno time so far. It has the Profiler Sniper heads. The builder said the circle track guys are doing this a lot now. I dont know if I believe ot yet. I'm curious to see how well it lasts.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^if going in a boat i would choose option one if useing a 9.8 block, option two for a 10.2 block.

Makes total sense in circle track in the regard of lower weight and lower CG. Racing does not always make $$$$ sense though. LOL.
