5.0 bore x 5.7 stroke makes 895cubic inches...?
and this combination is possible with olds drc block.
has anyone seen this big-engine? |
Tim
Are you just curious or are you seriously considering going with a mountain motor? Huge CID engines are not very practical due to costs, lack of parts availability, specialty application, etc, and thats here in the U.S.;) You can build a 632 for around $20,000 because there are many manufacturers making the parts. A 750" + motor is going to cost HUGE money and the 1 or 2 specialty manufacturers will rape you on componets. 815" is the biggest I've seen, and that was using a "ford" derivative block, I believe the stroke was 5.30" |

I dont want to say I am serious for the moment but I have a project for future. And offcourse costs will be one of the major factor while making desicion. |

I agree with jdnca1.
Any thing after that(632)is silly money...If a 632ci motor dosen't have enough TQ for you...throw on a 14-71 and let it fly. |
Why not just weld a couple of 502's end to end and have a 16 cylinder 1004 cu in. :D :p
