How much clearance you consider exceptable. I lowered starboard engine in with wiggle room only and was able to get bolts in but there's at most 1/16th between the narrowest point. If I had to guess while getting into place I woulda said no way. Closest area is btwn port #4 and stbd #7. There solid offshore mounts but just thought I'd ck with some of you with narrow center to center dim. If there gonna have to go I'd just a soon it be now and get the narrow lightenings but would rather use these unless at risk. Tks

Now I know why Formula puts such a thick stringer in the middle. I mean I thought my engines were close, but if I really try I can change the plugs.

I say run em. I need to find a brave sole to ride in the bilge at wfo in 3 to 4's and make sure they don't touch.

I volunteer Travis! He's brave and thin enough to ride in the bilge.

You've got enough room in there, get an extended drive shaft and stagger the engines. Problem solved!

Kinda of funny he helped today and had his little narrow azz in there and was the one that said ain't ever gonna go.

Give Diamond Performance a call and see how wide Eickerts are. They may give you the room you are looking for.

Anybody else? I thought to possibly pull exhaust gaskets and use high temp to gain a bit more if need be also. I don't see how engines could move much individually however under extreme conditions I could see how they could move together slightly.
