95 454 EFI horsepower
I'm really not sure what to believe. Looking at a 95 Formula, with 95 454 MAG EFIs according to the stickers on the plenum and exhaust elbow with plug spec, etc. So my understanding from this is they're 385hp each. However, when you go to the Mercury parts catalog lookup it comes up simply as 454 EFI Gen V, 94-96. Is this still a magnum motor at 385hp?

According to the 1995 Mercruiser catalog, which I have in my hand, your motor is 385hp at the prop.
The 454 Magnum Bravo 1 non-EFI is 350hp. Your EFI is 385hp.. |
