whats the best way to trim both drives with one switch?

1988 mercruiser ; whats the best way to trim both drives with one switch? im thinking have a separate switch with both wired to it then tweek them individually because they trim slightly different speeds.... what do you think?
thanks

yes...third switch with diodes so the individual switch don't back feed the other when doing one at a a time...

They also make double pole switches than you don't need diodes.

Yes your right! i didnt think about that! that would be a simpler solution....but as far as switches go you can get them just about any marine supply store or online and diodes you can get from a local radio shack if there are any still around....

Put 2 switches on the throttles 1 for drives and 1 for tabs, did it last year on our boat and its one of the best improvements I've done so far.

Where did you get those throttle switches?

Livorsi sells the switch kit complete with instructions, you have to call in and ask for it.

I did the same thing. It's really nice as you get on plane.
