I think the Windline is the best bang for the buck. It's easy to install, good quality and functions nicely. I believe Baja was using these under their tubed swim platforms. Buddy of mine installed one and through bolted it under the rubber strips. Looked like it belonged there.

I just purchased the first one and really like it so far. Although I have not had it out on the water yet. I only mounted and tested it before I sent my platform off to be powder coated

Not sure it's a sausage party when the only reason you need a ladder on the platform is for women, if I can arm press my fat ass up on mine without a ladder I would assume any male could.

I just drop the tabs all the way down and use that as the first step.

I like the idea of using the tabs or the tie bar but this platform is huge plus with the surface drives I think the bar will be too low in the water to be beneficial. I guess I will have to wait until I am done rigging to see how everything lays out!

3-Step Under-Mount Slide/Out in STAINLESS is what I have on my boat. It's 13 years old and works like the day it was installed, and looks new as well.
I DON'T know if they still offer stainless in this model, but I really do like it's design.

Yea it goes down enough for me and just about everyone else. I have a grab bar that people can grab also. The nice thing is its spring return, so its only down when you have weight on it. No forgetting it after you leave. If its hard for someone to get up I just have them step on the drive first.
