We had multiple setbacks on the dyno that made that impossible.

For your own info or re you gonna sell engines or combos or ???? Just wondering so I can see where your coming from. Just wondering if I missed this somewhere.

Well, we could be polite and say its just for my own info or in retrospect I guess we could call it my own stupidity.

Yeah people say 15hp isn't significant, but 15 here and 15 there adds up!

Sounds like there may be some HP in controlling the oil in your pan depending on your current setup.

Big pans, big kickouts. But on opposite sides of each engine. I'm told this can be seen on a dyno. True? BS? Who knows, just another variable

Again, just asking so I can be on same train of thinking, or at least try to.

I know a few regular pocket people people that have gone on to buy a dyno and build a shop because of getting that involved with 'quests.'

Schit, I have an engine builder customer that has a shop, had a regular pocket customer buy a dyno to put it in the builders shop. LOL.

Again, I didn't know if you where going racing , or being like some of us looking for a few more or a lot more power or just wanted to find a few more answers. I've seen a lot of different scenarious.

If I didn't own a boat I'd have a great time building engines! I'm not racing or engine building, just looking for well thought out reliable power with the parts I already had. I have a pretty different view of practicality and sometimes over analyze which is a bad combination at times. Next time around I'm sending all my money to Innovation Marine and watching HBO until the truck pulls up. Edit- funny you mention the dyno. I did find one I wanted to buy to put in someone else's shop, but I moved too late on it.
