Any speedo tube fixes

I am running through the issues to fix up my 2006 Baja OL 35. I have a speedo that doesn't work. Everyone told me that the pick up was plugged most likey. Oops. No. The pick up is clear and I used compressed air trying to get the speedo to work and it appears that it is leaking somewhere around the inside of the outdrive. Are there any short cuts or do you have to remove the outdrive to replace the tubing from the outdrive to the speedo? If so, I might be without a speedo or maybe it's cheaper to buy a gps speedo. Thoughts.

I stopped fixing pitot Speedos a few years after the turn of the century.

Go gps, My tubing kept blowing off the back of the speedo around 80 mph and would blow water all over the cabin.

I think that is what mine is doing except in the engine compartment.

I like seeing the 5" dream O meter move. I don't care if it isn't accurate, I just like looking down and seeing it move. If I want a accurate speed Ill turn on the Garman.

My 5" Gaffrig Dream O meter also don't work. But mine has something busted inside the gauge it self.
