Engine OIl Prelube Plumbing

I am installing a prelube pump from the oilpan (with an inline filter) Since the engines are in the boat, I want to plumb it through the oil filter head. Does the pressurized line from the pan go to the center line up thru the middle of the filter or thru the line on the outer part of the filter?

Anybody?

The outer line at the filter is the line that goes into the filter (line from oil pump). The center line is the line that comes out of the filter headed back towards the engine.

So I should plum the check valve to the outside. Right?

Sorry Keith I'm not familiar with the prelude. If your oil filter has a check valve I would think it wouldn't make a difference???
