Timing settings

Question about timing. What do most of you run for timing on a stock hp 502 motor ... initial and total timing. Thanks in advance

14* base timing with 20* of advance and total of 34* is good starting point.
Base timing does not matter as much and can be 10-20* depending on how much advance you have.

That's what figured.. I was at 12 with a total of 34 now I'm set it to 13 with a total of 36 water test today
