You may want to look into Badman racing engines in wakeman Ohio (hour east of Toledo). Guys name is mark cook. He operates out of the federated auto parts store there. Runs a full machine shop and dyno service. He does Jegs pro stock engines.
I'm heading there to dyno my stuff in the coming week and talked to him for quite awhile on the phone today. I don't do facebook as I'm a grownup, but they have a "page". |

Good luck on the dyno session. How much you hoping to make with it? I suppose it would be cool to see 675, but I'm not gonna get hung up on making a number. I want to seat the rings, put a good load on the engine midrange and check the AF ratio., gauge the crankcase vacuum and set up the vacuum relief valve and the +PSI blow off valve. Maybe pull the valve covers and recheck lash. Generally setting up the engine is the goal of the session. It will be fun to see what it does and how high it pulls. It's been a long time in the works. |
Accessorys and marine exhaust or no? Is he equipped to run wet exhaust?

Like I said, I don't care about a number. I want to set up the engine, break it in and get a base tune. No problems with Ray, just wanted to use a different guy and Mark comes highly recommended. Apparently he works quite a bit with Dale Cubic. |
Ray at Victory is a good guy and honest. A buddy of mine just used Ron Hutter in Chardon Ohio for work on (4) engines and was really happy.

I was going to say Fall Automotive Machine on Jackman Road, but it looks like he might have retired/closed/sold. He was talking about it last time I was there, but its been like 5 years or so ago.
Send a PM to 'lightning jet' and see who he recommends in the area. He may even be able to do it. |
