2004 Merc 575 warning siren won't go away

It has 76 lbs oil pressure, 110 oil temp and 140 water temp . 30 psi fuel pressure runs great. Just all of a sudden it stays on?? any Ideas

mcprodesign 07-14-2016 07:37 PM

all I did is replace fuel lines on the throttle body.. ( on both engines)

Mine had the same problem, it was a wet oil pressure sensor, a different one than the gauge uses.

Im assuming their efi ? if so fuel pressure seems low for, should be in the low 40's, are they bravo drives ?? drive reservoir low ? solid tone or interupted

mcprodesign 07-15-2016 09:18 AM

It sounds like intermittent and solid both cause it changes a little art first. It only comes on after the high idle . It does not come on in the first 10 seconds or so. It will not go away at any rpm. Maybe it is a sensor for low pressure like J rider said? Unhooked the drive reservoir sensor wires and it's half full too.

mcprodesign 07-15-2016 09:23 AM

what sensors does it have that set that off? I would think oil pressure for sure, water temp for sure . it there more than that to check?

That's a make switch on the drive bottle, when unhooked the circuit is open and will alarm, did you hook the wires together to close the loop

It is not a high pressure EFI system, that pressure is fine. It has two 90s throttle bodies off dump truck motors...true story.
