gen VI 525SC pistons
 

anybody know of replacement pistons for these, have been told no longer available

I would think JE would have something, it was just a 454 with supercharger. I think they had metric rings but replacements would not need to be metric.

I thought the gen 6 525SC was an 8.2

525sc is a 454 with a compression ratio of 7.5 to1.raising the cr wakes that engine up.

we are having to re-do 1 in a twin setup so trying to keep stock

Aren't the pistons forged TRW / Speedpro #L2453 ? ust like that Ebay one linked above ?

not sure of the #, engine not here, but looks right
