Here is more of a visual. This ssm3 transom was filled slightly at top to mount trs. You can still see ssm3 mounting holes plugged.

If you are going from trs to to ssm3, you may need to fill slightly at the bottom (you will see a faint marker line that I cut out to mount trs again).

So from trs to ssm3, you will cut out top a bit more, plug old holes and fill about 3" off trs hole at the bottom.

Hey Paul! How ya been? I still have my TRS and it's still low hours. Id like to keep my IMP for a long time and may consider doing the swap. I think my 87 hull still has sub 100 Hours.
